Outlook 2003 Email Setup
These steps and settings will help you to setup Outlook 2003 to receive mail from your email account with Basic Data Solutions.
Note:

Click the Tools menu and select E-mail Accounts ... |

Select the first option Add a new e-mail account and click Next > |

Select POP3 and click Next > |
| 4. |
Enter the relevant information:
| Your Name: |
The name you would like displayed to the recipient as the sender of the email |
| E-mail address: |
[username]@[domain] |
| Incoming mail server (POP3): |
mail.basicdatasolutions.com.au |
| Outgoing mail server (SMTP): |
mail.basicdatasolutions.com.au |
| Username: |
[username]@[domain] |
| Password: |
Your password |

Click on More Settings ... and select the General tab. Enter a meaningful name into the Mail Account box. This name is displayed only in Outlook (not in any outgoing emails) and can help you identify accounts, if you have multiple accounts setup. |

Select the Outgoing Server tab. Check My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication, ensure that Use same settings as my incoming mail server is selected, and click OK. |

Click Next > and click Finish to close the E-mail Accounts window. |
